POWER

A history built over more than three decades in the power sector.

POWER’s history began with EFACEC’s operations in Brazil in the 1990s, when the company helped implement major protection, control, supervision, and automation systems for the Brazilian power sector.

Our history

From EFACEC in Brazil to a Brazilian engineering company.

Over the years, this experience evolved, incorporating technical knowledge, projects, professionals, and a strong presence among utilities, industries, and major energy consumers.

1990s

EFACEC operates in Brazil, helping implement major protection, control, supervision, and automation systems for the Brazilian power sector.

2015

The operation that would become POWER is structured, giving this history an identity of its own.

2024

The company becomes Brazilian and begins a new cycle: more agile and closer to its clients, preserving accumulated knowledge while expanding its engineering and execution capabilities.

TODAY

Over 30 years of power-sector experience combined with a modern, independent, results-oriented structure.

A history built with engineering. A future powered by energy.

POWER

Engineering applied to systems that cannot fail.

POWER works with automation, protection, control, supervision, and modernization of power systems, combining engineering, technology integration, and field execution for substations and critical operations.

POWER is a Brazilian engineering company specializing in SPCS retrofit, protection, control, supervision, and substation automation. Our work begins with the needs of the system. We understand the facility, requirements, and client constraints before defining the architecture, technologies, and implementation strategy. This technical independence allows us to integrate different manufacturers and build solutions suited to each project’s reality.

Institutional pillars

What supports every project we deliver.

Technological independence

The architecture is shaped by the needs of the system and facility.

Integrated engineering

Protection, control, supervision, communications, and fieldwork treated as a single system.

Field execution

Design connected to implementation, integration, and actual operating conditions.

Certified management

ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001 as the foundation of the Integrated Management System.

Expertise architecture

One engineering team, eight connected fronts.

Retrofit, protection, control, supervision, automation, engineering, fieldwork, and maintenance operate as parts of one system — not as isolated services.

Mission and vision

Mission

Develop, integrate, and implement automation, protection, control, supervision, and power-system modernization solutions that improve the reliability and performance of our clients’ facilities. We work with applied engineering, technological independence, quality, safety, and continuous improvement, always starting from the actual needs of each operation.

Vision

Be Brazil’s benchmark for SPCS retrofit, automation, protection, control, and substation supervision, recognized for technical expertise, manufacturer independence, integration capabilities, execution quality, and the trust built in every project.

Values

Five principles that guide every decision.

  1. 01

    Trust

We build long-term relationships with transparency, integrity, accountability, and commitment to what we promise. Trust results from consistency across engineering, communication, and execution.

  2. 02

    Sustainability

We seek to develop and carry out our activities responsibly, reducing impacts, using resources consciously, and incorporating environmental, social, and safety criteria into business decisions.

  3. 03

    Expertise

Technical knowledge, practical experience, and continuous development guide our work. We value teams capable of understanding complex problems, making sound decisions, and executing with precision.

  4. 04

    Boldness

We face complex challenges with initiative, critical thinking, and a drive to seek better solutions. Progress requires questioning standards, adopting new technologies, and turning limitations into engineering opportunities.

  5. 05

    Humanism

Respect for people guides our relationships with employees, clients, partners, and communities. We value safety, diversity, collaboration, professional development, and responsible workplaces.

These principles guide how we design, decide, execute, and build relationships.
